COURSE DESCRIPTION: On Tuesday, October 16 from 2:00-3:00PM ET, Yvonne Hughes, Executive Director of Coastal Connect, Inc. will join NeHC to discuss their mission to encourage provider collaboration across Eastern North Carolina through care coordination and improved physician workflow. Yvonne will also discuss the HIE’s history, the geographically and demographically diverse communities Coastal Connect, Inc. serves, and the unique challenges they have faced since their inception. Additionally, Yvonne will address Coastal Connect, Inc.’s progress on the organization’s goal to see improvement and favorable outcomes in the areas of patient care, provider efficiency, ease of workflow, and an overall enrichment of public health.
