COURSE DESCRIPTION: In honor of Health IT Week, NeHC will be hosting a series with the Office of the National Coordinator to highlight their initiatives related to privacy and security. Joy Pritts, Chief Privacy Officer at ONC will kick off the program with an overview of the recent projects ONC has undertaken. Then, Laura Rosas, Privacy and Security Professional at ONC and Will Phelps, HIT Cyber Security Program Officer with the US Department of Health and Human Services, will give an interactive demonstration of Cybersecure: Your Medical Practice, a new avatar-based game meant to enhance organizations’ understanding of privacy and security.
