NeHC's Gift to You: A Week of New NeHC University Classes!
Take a break from your online holiday shopping and join NeHC for the last few classes of the NeHC University Fall 2011 semester! Consider this our gift to you: a week of three brand new classes, including an update on the ONC Standards & Interoperability (S&I) Framework, an interactive roundtable discussion on consumer engagement, and an exploration of two statewide HIEs in Maine and Oklahoma.
Starting on Monday, December 12, we will host Jitin Asnaani, the Coordinator of the S&I Framework, to provide an update on the S&I initiatives and ONC's work toward full interoperability.
On Wednesday, December 14, NeHC will present a roundtable discussion on consumer engagement featuring three of NeHC's HIE Leaders, ONC consumerista Lygeia Ricciardi and other experts in the field. Panelists will discuss how they are using health IT tools and resources to engage and connect with consumers.
On Thursday, December 15, NeHC University will offer its last Spotlight Learning Series class focusing on HIE Leadership and Sustainability. This final class will feature an exploration of HealthInfoNet in Maine and SMRTNET in Oklahoma. Tune in to learn about how these HIE Leaders have achieved sustainability, established strong governance mechanisms, and how they are moving forward toward an environment of increased accountability in healthcare.
Don't miss the last few classes of the semester before we take our winter break!
