Trends in HIT Innovation: Intro to Trends

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This program is intended to provide stakeholders with a glimpse into the cutting-edge technologies and ideas taking hold in the health IT (HIT) arena. Each class in this series will feature two HIT innovators in to discuss their contributions to advancement of HIT adoption, consumer engagement with HIT, and overall improvement of health and healthcare for all Americans.
HHS CTO Todd Park will kick off a brand new series on Trends in HIT Innovation. Todd will describe opportunities for innovation that result from the intersection of health IT and the liberation of data, and will illustrate how the government is helping to catalyze progress. This program will be followed by a series of classes designed to showcase examples of cutting-edge HIT innovation.
